📉The tape

Everything green, and the shorts paid for it. BTC off 80.9k to 82k through US hours, ETH and SOL outran it, ZEC lapped everyone. Funding sits at base on every major. Nobody is levered long into this, which is exactly why it keeps going.

Liquidations: $219M in 24h, $159M of it shorts. ETH shorts alone $72M. The last 12h flipped to longs ($47M of $77M), last hour $2.3M: the squeeze is spent, the drift is not.

Mood: risk-on, under-positioned. Bears got their Friday and gave it all back by Monday close.

🏦Macro

Nobody cares about the hike. Fed sits at 3.75–4.00% after September, Warsh keeps 10/28 live, inflation prints 3.7% and stocks ripped anyway. WTI $98.45 and Brent $106 drifted lower on the perps even with Houthi strikes on Saudi infrastructure pushing futures up intraday. Gold $4,140 flat, silver $57.08 +0.7%, natgas −2.2%. The safe-haven bid took the day off, and so did the bond panic.

📈Stocks

Cash close: Nasdaq +1.1% to 26,431, S&P +0.4% to 7,691, Dow −0.07% to 51,966. Gave back half the midday gains and still green. SMH nearly +3%, snapping nine straight red days.

Memes back, as a category. Every perp on the board green; frogs and the launchpad lead, Fartcoin lagging for once.

Launchpads: PUMP is the sector proxy and it's the best meme on the board, while Bonk.fun has reportedly been out-launching pump.fun since late September (single source). Trenches: alive again if BTC holds 82.

Data caveats: Coinglass trader count and biggest single liquidation unavailable this run; Monday ETF flows not yet posted on Farside; no OI-change data, OI shown as levels. HIP-3 stock 24h spans the last cash session plus overnight, so it differs from cash closes. Dated-today searches for oil, yields, Zcash, Hyperliquid, regulation and IPOs came back thin; Fed rate and Zcon7 dates carried as standing facts.
