Stocks rallied into the weekend; crypto faded through the whole US session. S&P 7,811.54 (+0.59%), Nasdaq 27,366 (+0.64%), Dow 51,655 (+0.83%), Russell +0.46%. All three majors green on the week, S&P within a hair of the record. The reasons given: oil eased on Trump's Russia-diesel line, tech bought back the OpenAI scare after Bloomberg's $70B number, and nobody wants to be short into bank earnings.
| Crypto, US hours | 9:30 ET | 4:00 ET | Session |

The day high was 83,200 at 6:30am ET, before New York even sat down. From there it was a slow bleed into the bell, and the last hour's liquidations were 92% longs. Thursday's $1B flush has rolled out of the 24h window, so the headline number looks calm: $209M rekt, 63% of it shorts (BTC shorts $47M, ETH shorts $41M). That was the overnight squeeze. The squeeze is over.
Asia last night: Nikkei 69,031 (−0.02%), SoftBank still soft on the OpenAI read-through. Korea closed for Hangul Day. HIP-3 Korea line (EWY) 177.4 (+0.5%), Nikkei perp 68,895 (+0.9%) into Monday.
Mood: stocks are "earnings season, buy the dip"; crypto is "10/10 is tomorrow, I'll wait." Funding 0.005%, OI flat, taker 0.51. Nobody is positioned, in either direction.
10Y 5.24%, a 24-year-high neighborhood (5.311% Monday), and the stock market shrugged at it for a third day. VIX 14.8. Brent ~$102–104, WTI $91.7, both off the highs after Trump said Russia ships 300k tons of diesel now, 500k in November, a million after, and that the US won't hit Iran before the Nov 3 midterms. Polymarket has ~60% on the ceasefire holding through Nov 15. Gold $4,197–4,220 (+1.5%), silver $60.8 (+2.6%), platinum +3%, copper +2%: metals are the only thing pricing the 5% yield as a problem. UMich sentiment 46.3, five-month low, one-year inflation expectations 4.6%. The consumer hates it and the tape doesn't care. CPI Wednesday is the only thing on the calendar that can move rates; the Fed is Oct 28 and is leaning hold.

Fartcoin is three-for-three: +5% with OI +10%, still the only meme anyone is buying with leverage. The rest is green by a hair on dead volume (DOGE did $5.7M, WIF $0.6M) which is what "bounce" looks like when nobody is in the room. PURR wicked to 0.125 and round-tripped.
Trenches: PUMP −7% is the tell. The launchpad trade is Pump-only and Pump is red. Memes aren't dead, they're just small, and they stay small until BTC clears 83.5k.
